How To Set Up Network Controller Paths For Programming And Monitoring
New RAM Drive Version Only

There are two paths that must be configured in order to Program and Monitor the Network Controller

Programming path: \\nc1\tc85dir
This is the factory default path for uploading card programming changes and system configuration files.
The path, \\nc1\tc85dir targets the Flash Memory Card

Monitoring And Transaction Retrieval path: \\nc1\logfiles
This is the factory default path for monitoring Real Time Events, and for downloading transaction data using Report Manager
The path \\nc1\logfiles targets a RAM drive that is created each time the Network Controller boots up. At that time, this file is populated with transaction activity backed up on the flash memory card. When new transactions are generated, they reside on the RAM drive, and are periodically backed up to the flash memory card in case of power failure.

Report Manager
In order to download transaction data from the Network Controller, you will need to add the Monitoring  path statement to your list of paths. Click the Refresh button to access that file. You may add as many path statements as there are Network Controllers.

When you double click the monitoring path, transactions will be downloaded to your local PC using the following path: c:\tc85dir\tclog1.txt.

This file is overwritten each time transactions are downloaded, so if you want to save this data, rename the file prior to your next download.
